On November 29, 2023, the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the People’s Republic of China and the Government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on Cooperation within the Framework of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road Initiative was signed in Amman by Chen Chuandong, Chinese ambassador to Jordan and Zeina Toukan, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation of Jordan.
